Tokyo

I have a for a long time now been enjoying photos of Tokyou and japan over the internet so I thought to give you a great suggestion of a site that vloger and blogger Hiko Saemon that I am following was suggesting. Shoottokyo.com The greatest way of getting a glimpse into another culture is truly through photographs. Luckely enough there are greate talents out there in the world doing just that for us that crave to enjoy Japan, taking a lot of great photos for us. If one needs more photos that are beautiful as well, one can accidently drop by this lovely site: Japan Dave. His photos has a magic behind them, capturing something more then the eye can see naked. He does not take photos specifically of Tokyou though but from all around Japan and if you want to you can buy beautiful photos Read more [...]

Eureka Seven Astral Ocean

A dream come true, a Sequel series from Eureka Seven is about to hit us with full force in April. I will let this article from Anime News Network speak for itself: Yūichi Katō to draw manga version of sequel series in Monthly Shōnen Ace starting in January. The official website for the Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean (Eureka Seven Ao) project announced on Friday in Japan that a television anime version will air starting in April 2012. The anime studio BONES will return to animate the sequel series. The February issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine is announcing on Monday that Eureka Seven Ao, a manga sequel to the Eureka Seven television anime series, will launch in the next issue on January 26. The "real mecha epic" will center around Read more [...]

Anime Spring 2012

So for the spring Anime List 2012. This list is still being updated according to the Author and will be so until the Spring term starts in March. In this list there i one series that got my heart jumping very fast since I still think that the first series was a GREAT one. Eureka Seven is getting Eureka Seven AO and somehow I think that the new hero might be the son of the last Eureka Sevens Heroes. Truly looking forward to see this one more then any other anime I have been waiting for whole last year.

Once again, the list comes from Neregate.com and this one is v2 so far.

Anime List Winter 2011/2012

SO, Due to the fact that the site was taken down in a hack attack this list is coming up very late. But there is still February left and end of January to go so I am putting it up anyhow. This lovely picture with all series and movies to come out during this period can be found originally at: Nerecome.com

Since I already have a few anime series I am following I will not have time to start following new ones, except maybe Black Rock Shooter. Then there is one movie I simply have to watch since I have seen all the series, and that is .Hack/The Movie. Check out next post that will have the Spring list from same source of course.

Alempijevic.com Got hacked and cracked!

Few days ago my Fiancee told me that some of her members on the Forum I was administrating for her had been complaining about weird links popping up in Google search when looking at the Forums address. I thought it was just some Keyword munching pages that had been sprouting out our forums address in google since the forum is... kind of large and VERY active. I would soon learn how wrong I was. The forum is being kept on my web hotel account and apparently my account had suffered a very nasty intrusion attack by a nice little dude called: Eval64. It had been adding a nice line of encoded mumbo jambo, hiding links to porn sites and who knows what, in the upper part of EVERY single PHP file. Now those of you that know this, phpBB3 ( the forum is using this forum framework) AND WordPress that Read more [...]

Shihan Funakoshi – 15.10.2011 – Helsinki

Saturday ( to day ) 15th of October 2011 something happened that I never thought I would be part of up until today. Shihan Funakoshi, 9th Dan Shotokan Shihan and also fourth cousin of our Founder Gichin Funakoshi held a camp in Helsinki and I was there! Begining of this year we became part of FSKA or Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Association as it stands for. FSKA is founded and run by Shihan Funakoshi and all the sense’s that have there Dojos part of FSKA answer directly to Shihan with no border members in between. This way politics are avoided and also lets Shihan make sure that we train the way Shotokan was meant to be trained, with pure Spirit! As a 1st Kyu, in other words half way to black belt 1st Dan as my old sense Jumrukovski in Sweden would have said, I Read more [...]

My karate Roots

32 years old. Trained Shotokan Karate for Jumrukovski sensei at age of 13 to 14 and once again at age 18 to 19. Took up karate once again at age of 31, this time as well Shotokan karate but in Finland since I have been living here since December 19 2001. Hämäläinen Sensei became my new sensei and first now do I realize how lucky I have been with the two sensei’s I have had and still have. Due to my hip injury I am not allowed to train karate for two and a half month which have given me the time to strengthen my body otherwise and also read up on some badly needed karate history. Jumrukovski sensei sended me a book written by his sensei Andersson Roy Sensei, called: “Shotokan Karate – Mitt ideal”. I am an emotional person even though I might have a face that scares people Read more [...]

Training hard to get back to the Dojo

During April I managed to reach a point where an injury I did not realize I have had for years told me I needed some professional help. It turned out that the thigh muscles in my left leg where to short and where pulling badly on my hip making it painful in the lower back. Now I have had pain in my lower back back and forth at least since 2002 August when I twisted it badly carrying a heavy TV ( my left knee was itching…. ). After my physiotherapist ( same dude that pointed me towards my Sensei ) had both massaged my lower back and hip area And twisted it back into position plus putting LONG needles into my hip and lower thigh area, the pain stopped coming from the lower back. I should most likely say, the pain had never been originating from my lower back, but rather from my left Read more [...]

The Karate Code by Jesse

I have for some while now followed KaratebyJesse.com. Its a blog kept by.. you guessed so, Jesse, a sensei from Sweden. Now what I like about this blog is not the fact that Jesse is a sensei, it is more that he actually do keep on searching constantly more and more about the karate heritage and everything that has to do with karate. This time around Jesse have been managing something that I simple have to say is amazing. He has managed to round up a LOT of big names within the Karate world, real big names that is, and get them to pitch in with there thoughts on Karate, no matter flavor. The end result: The Karate Code. I bought it through Amazon using Kindle and I have to say, holy mother of Karate! Having a hip injury and not being able to train for the summer makes Read more [...]
